WC Loc achieves ISO 9001 and 14001 Certifications!

At WC Loc, we have implemented a management system integrating quality, safety, and the environment. This integrated system, based on the international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, was audited by an independent expert who validated our certifications. Beyond the certifications themselves, the voluntary implementation of such a system has strengthened our continuous improvement momentum and placed the customer more than ever at the center of all our business processes.

In France, there are approximately 3.5 million companies, and only 30,000 are ISO 9001 certified, while 7,000 are ISO 14001 certified. We are therefore very pleased and proud to have joined this select circle of companies that provide evidence of their commitment to customer satisfaction and environmental responsibility throughout their processes.

Compliance with the ISO 9001 standard requires the implementation of management, coordination, and improvement tools that help managers motivate their teams.

From an employee perspective, this allows them to better understand the impact of their actions on customer satisfaction and to be involved in an approach where the customer is at the center of the system.

Regarding ISO 14001, our certification demonstrates our compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, strengthens management’s involvement and our employees’ commitment to environmental protection, and promotes better environmental performance, notably by integrating suppliers into the approach. Here, one of the main motivations is to identify our impacts and assess them in order to implement actions to reduce them.

This certification process, launched in 2013 by our Director of Information Systems, began with gathering our customers’ expectations through satisfaction surveys, followed by mapping our best practices across the entire group and coordinating process leads. Strengthened in 2016 by the arrival of our Environmental Manager and our Hygiene, Safety and Training Manager, we implemented the system throughout the company. As a result, new practices were introduced in our central departments as well as in our branches and depots, such as incident reporting with associated action plans, risk analyses, and the establishment of an internal audit team.

For our customers, certification is proof provided by an external, independent body that we act as we describe, that we keep our commitments, and that we set ourselves goals to continuously improve our performance. Since all companies are certified against the same criteria, customers are assured of the top quality of the services and equipment provided. Likewise, with ISO 14001 certification, our customers have assurance of our environmental commitment.

Achieving ISO 9001/14001 certification is only the beginning! WC Loc employees are now committed to this shared project of continuous improvement, working toward ever-greater customer satisfaction.
