Our Recommendations for Installing Mobile Construction Site Toilets
The committee dedicated to mobile sanitation facilities within the DLR federation (France) has just published its recommendations concerning mobile sanitation installations (site facilities and toilets) for construction sites. This is an opportunity for us to take stock of our commitments to promoting access to hygiene everywhere and for everyone.
Requirements to Comply With on Construction Sites
The law requires all construction sites to provide sanitation facilities. The type of equipment required varies depending on the duration of the site.
- For sites lasting less than 4 months: To ensure workers’ well-being, the site must be equipped with mobile site facilities and/or wheeled units and self-contained toilets.
- For sites lasting more than 4 months: When the nature of the site does not allow for the use and installation of modular constructions, mobile installations are a suitable alternative.
Renting mobile site facilities: what are the benefits for your construction site?
The mobile site facility concept offers 3 major benefits. The first is the compactness and versatility of this equipment. Indeed, a mobile site facility has the advantage of bringing together several worker comfort features in a minimal footprint, making it an “all-in-one” solution.
The second benefit of site trailers is their mobility and the flexibility this equipment offers. Moving at the pace of the construction site, the site facility allows you to stay as close as possible to your teams.
Finally, site facilities are also valued for their level of autonomy. Whether it’s a modular space, like our megablocs, or a trailer, installation is quick and well-suited to sites that change location frequently.
Our Commitments for Renting Site Facilitie
As a rental provider, WC Loc is committed to providing you with equipment in good working order. Our site facilities for rent are therefore equipped with a break room, sanitation facilities (non-communicating, in compliance with the NF EN 16194 standard), and changing rooms that meet safety and hygiene standards as well as European road transport standards.
To ensure your teams’ comfort on site, we make sure every unit is equipped with functional heating and lighting. With this same goal of offering greater comfort to workers, we have developed a self-sufficient site trailer powered by solar energy.
We also ensure that a water point is available, along with a clean water supply. And because no two construction sites are alike, our site facility equipment can be adapted to your requirements — for example, we can equip it with kitchen appliances (fridge and hotplate).
As experts in the rental of site facilities and construction site sanitation, we support our clients from start to finish of their rental contract, with our service offering including: delivery and collection of equipment, installation and equipment orientation, as well as tank emptying, maintenance, and wastewater management.
Renting Self-Contained Mobile Toilets: What Are the Benefits for Your Construction Site?
In a construction site context, self-contained mobile toilets include both the rental of standalone toilet cabins available on site and the self-contained toilets built into mobile site facilities.
Mobile, flexible, self-contained, hygienic, eco-friendly, cost-effective… there’s no shortage of attributes to describe the mobile toilets we provide for your construction sites. Every year, thanks to our in-house workshop, we develop new products built to withstand any site conditions. The latest additions?
Construction-specific dry toilets, the 8-person trailer with toilet and shower, the 6-person trailer with solar panel, and the insulated clean water tank!
